The Prophecy

My six-fingered hand is a map of fragmented tales: the great wave that drowned Kilstipheen, the petrified forests off the Clare coast, the Bridóg Doll of fertility, the Chieftain’s lost key, and the Tuatha De Danann (pre-Christian Gods) jumping from the Cliffs of Moher.
My palm holds a mollusk shell; inside is the magic eel from St. Brigid’s Well.
