The Warrior Conan and his Tomb

Watercolour on Paper, 26 x 20 cm.

Some accounts say the key to Kilstipheen lies with the warrior Conan, high up on Mount Callan.
In 1872 the Royal Irish Academy held an archaeological dig at the portal tomb reported to be his grave. They discovered bones and rusted irons but no key.
